Tours of the Manor Cost £6.00 pupil and take approximately 90 minutes, additional Workshops can be arranged for a cost of £2 per pupil (see our Workshops page for more information).

Admission includes a guided tour by our historical interpreters who will engage the children in the interesting and varied history of the 17th century.

We have set times of 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:00pm. When deciding on a tour time please take into consideration the time it will take your to travel from your location to the Manor to ensure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your allocated time.

Upon arrival at Llancaiach Fawr Manor you will be greeted by a member of staff who will direct you to our Education centre. The Education Centre will be your base for the day and it can be used as a teaching area, dining area and is a place for pupils to deposit their belongings before embarking on a Tour of the Manor house or participating in a workshop.

During your free time you are welcome to visit our Exhibition on the history of the Manor house or browse the wide selection of items we have for sale in our gift shop.

If your transport is due to leave at a specified time, please let a member of staff know, ideally before your visit, so that we can ensure you do not have to cut short any part of your visit.

Confirm your booking

In order to confirm your booking we require a deposit of £25.00. This can be paid by cheque made payable to C.C.B.C. or card payment over the telephone. When we receive your deposit we will send you a receipt and letter confirming your booking details.

The balance of payment is due on the day of the visit and will be charged according to the number of children you bring, minus the deposit already paid.
