at Llancaiach Fawr
Llancaiach Fawr sits within 20 acres of attractive grounds with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. The grade 1 listed historic Manor was built in the mid 16th century and has been restored to its former glory with its interiors furnished and recreated as the 17th century home of Edward Prichard.
The Visitor Centre is set in the grounds of the Manor House with its own self-contained Mansell Hall function suite with private bar. Couples can choose to hold their ceremony in the function suite and have their wedding breakfast in the conservatory and vice versa. The choice is yours.
To make your day memorable, we only allow one wedding to take place per day to ensure that you receive our undivided attention and the highest level of customer service.
We are licensed for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies in the 16th century Manor House in either the Great Hall (seats 50) or the oak panelled Parlour (seats 30) and in the Visitor Centre in the Conservatory (seats 70 for a ceremony or wedding breakfast) or the Mansell Hall (seats up to 120 guests for a ceremony or evening reception).
Please visit the Registrars Service web pages for further information on Weddings and Civil Partnership ceremonies in Caerphilly County Borough.
We have a wide range of menu options and prices within our packages from a hot fork buffet to more elaborate multi-course choices depending upon the nature of the celebration you want to create. All our dishes are freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients. We can also cater for special diets.
